This site has been set up to overcome the complexities and cost of communications with our membership and will be regularly updated to ensure that the latest information on any development or changes regarding the management of the Fund is available to our members at all times.

At the 2023 AGM of the fund, it was agreed by the committee that from April 2024 we would increase the cost of subscriptions to the Benevolent Fund from £3-50 to £4-50 per month.

The subscriptions to the Fund have not increased for over 10 years and so it was decided that a £1-00 increase is necessary to cope with rising costs.

At the same time it was decided that the cost of the car stickers would also rise to £2-00 each, due to purchase price rises. Stickers can be obtained from Andrew.hall3@nhs.net or Christine.Tanner@nhs.net

Tina Vince will be leaving the fund on the 25th July 2025. She has dedicated 35 years to the benevolent fund and has been a huge support for staff and committee members alike.

I wish to place on record my sincere thanks and appreciation to Tina for her 35 years of hard and dedicated work for the Benevolent fund. I can honestly say that without you, your experience, your knowledge and service to the fund my life as the chairman would not have been as easy as it has been.  You have helped me as chairman to continue to lead the fund, after Alan stepped down as chairman after 25 years, your support and help as we transitioned and negotiated our way through Covid was invaluable. Your experience and knowledge has made sure that I keep the fund transparent, consistent and fair to all.                     Thank you           Andrew Hall

The current chair Andrew Hall will also be leaving at the end of September and Christine Tanner will be taking over as Chair.
